Delivered in partnership with British APCO

 British APCO Critical Response Theatre

Delivered in partnership with British APCO, the UK’s leading association for public safety communications, this theatre examines the entire emergency response chain:

  • Emergency Calls – every second counts

  • Tech in IT & Comms – improving outcomes

  • Mobile Comms – evolving today and tomorrow

  • Tech for good – making a difference every day

With a programme shaped by real users, case studies and multi-agency lessons, the theatre focuses on practical application, not theory. Learn how digital tools, communications systems, AI and data-driven solutions are transforming operational efficiency across UK blue-light services.

Featured session

esn

2026 is the year the Emergency Services Network stops being something on the horizon and becomes something you need to plan for

From the start of 2027, emergency services across Great Britain will begin the practical work of transitioning from Airwave to ESN.

At the show you can expect to:

  • Hear directly from the Home Office on the progress of ESN delivery and what the transition means for your organisation, at the session: Emergency Services Network: Delivering critical communications for blue light responders.
  • See and interact with real ESN devices, applications and technology, brought to life so you can understand how it will work once it goes live.
  • Understand what a smooth transition looks like. From IT preparation to deployment planning to changes in ways of working, the ESN team will help you understand what is coming and what you need to do to be ready.
  • Bust the myths. Much of what people think they know about ESN is based on where the programme was three or four years ago. Come and find out where it actually is today.
